1. Acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and [NOMBRE O RAZÓN SOCIAL] ("we") for using Manuzzio, the app and the web version. By creating an account or playing online, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't play online. Our Privacy policy also applies.

2. Age

You must be at least 13 to play online (14 in Spain). If you are a minor under the law of your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian. [REVISIÓN LEGAL: legal capacity of minors aged 13 to 18.]

3. Your account

• To play online, you sign in with Apple, with Google Play Games or as a guest.
• A guest account is stored on that device or browser. If you uninstall the app, clear the browser's data or change phones without linking it first, you may lose it, together with your friends and your history. Link it to Apple or Google from the app.
• Keep access to your account safe. Don't sell, lend or transfer it.

4. Community rules

We want Manuzzio to feel like playing cards with friends. You may not:

• Use names with insults, discrimination, sexual or violent content, drugs, advertising, links, personal data (yours or someone else's, such as a phone number), or names that impersonate another person, us or a moderator.
• Harass, threaten or bother other players, including with chat messages, emotes or repeated invites.
• Write insults, discrimination, sexual content, personal data (yours or someone else's), links or spam in the chat, or ask someone to move to another app.
• Cheat: use programs, bots or modified versions of the game, exploit bugs, or secretly team up with other players to hurt the rest (for example, passing each other your cards through another app).
• Ruin games on purpose.
• Attack or overload our servers, or try to get into other people's accounts.
• Use the game for anything illegal.

In the table chat you may say whatever you like about your cards, true or not: bluffing is part of the game and isn't cheating. The chat isn't watched live; you can turn it off in Settings.

We may change a name that breaks these rules.

5. Reporting and blocking

You can report and block a player from the app. If you block someone, you won't get their invites, friend requests, messages or emotes. If you report them for their messages, we attach their latest messages at that table. We review reports, usually within 48 hours*. We never tell anyone who made a report. If someone is in danger, call the authorities first.

6. Moderation, sanctions and appeals

Depending on how serious it is, we may: warn you, change your name, mute your chat or your emotes, remove you from public tables, suspend your account for a while or close it for good. In serious cases we may act without prior notice. Don't create another account to avoid a sanction.

If you think we got it wrong, write to support@theboccgames.com within 30 days, with your friend code and your explanation. A person reviews the case and answers within 14 days*.

7. Points and virtual items

Points, stats and any virtual item we add (for example, card designs) are not money and have no value outside the game. They can't be exchanged for money or for anything else, or transferred, sold or given to another account. We give you permission to use them, not ownership, and they may change or stop existing. Today Manuzzio has no purchases and no ads. If we add them, we will update these terms first. Purchases would go through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds would follow their rules.

8. No real money

Manuzzio is a card game for fun. It is not played for money or for anything of value, neither in the app nor by using it to organise real-money play outside it. There are no cash prizes. If we detect real-money play, we may close the accounts involved.

9. Intellectual property

The game, its code, art, sounds and name belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive and revocable permission to use it for non-commercial purposes. Third-party licences are listed in the app, under Credits and licences. The rules of La Podrida are traditional: nobody owns them.

10. Availability

Manuzzio is provided "as is" and "as available". It may have bugs, outages or maintenance, and we may change, pause or end features or the online game. If we are going to shut down the online game, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days* in advance. A game cut short by a technical fault may be lost.

11. Liability

The game is free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, for lost data, points or games, or for what other players do. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

12. Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the game or its support. [REVISIÓN LEGAL: decide between Apple's standard licence agreement and our own.]

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, as explained in section 6.

14. Governing law

If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts and consumer protection authorities where you live. If you live in another country, the laws of that country that can't be waived by contract also protect you.

15. Changes

We may change these terms. We publish the new version with its date and, if the change is important, we tell you in the app at least 15 days* in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account; if you keep playing after that date, you accept the new terms.
